Voluntary Restraint on Salisbury Plain
There is a voluntary restraint on byways within the Copehill Down triangle between Chitterne, Shrewton and Tilshead ((Copehill down village FIBUA). These byways need to rest until they dry out.
The stone tracks can be used as an alternative route until the VR is lifted. Wiltshire Council and the MOD will be monitoring usaege of these byways and the effect the VR has over the period. This will ultimately inform the future of these byways.
