Well that’s a bit more like it! The new line up played a really blinding set in the resounding wooden surroundings of the King’s. John added some typically tasteful flourishes and the audience seldom noticed him asking what song we were playing, what key it was in and how it went! Some of the newer tacks (Animal Psyche, Before the Day, For the morning) are beginning to bed in well. The next few gigs may see the inclusion of yet more material, the super folky "Wee wee man" and the stomping "Can’t Believe Your Eyes" are bidding for inclusion soon.
Thanks to the locals and the travelling team, let’s hope we cn get back in before everyone forgets who we are again! |
